Madhuri Dixit dazzled us with both her smile and her exquisite red Manish Malhotra lehenga choli as she walked the runway for the fashion show held as part of the 2nd anniversary of the Save & Empower the Girl Child campaign by Lilavati Hospital The choli was embellished beautifully with silver embroidery, the patterns repeated all the more extravagantly on the full-skirted lehenga.
The lower half of the lehenga was spattered with silver sequins which made it look like she was walking through stars. An incredible effect which wouldn’t have seemed out of place even off the runway for the radiant gem who sported it. A sheer black dupatta rounded out the outfit in an interesting way. She accessorized with flower-shaped dangle earrings and a matching statement finger ring, both exuding a fun and youthful energy. With her romantic updo and glowing makeup, this timeless beauty stole our hearts and, we’re sure, broke a good lot of them too.
Preity Zinta has been cropping up very rarely nowadays, but she’s making sure she looks good when she does surface from her self-imposed sabbatical from the limelight. Check her out as she transforms the ramp into a walkway of heaven during the 2nd anniversary of the Save & Empower the Girl Child campaign by Lilavati Hospital She sported a lovely green lehenga choli by Manish Malhotra, the man behind all the pieces on the runway that evening. The choli was moderately embellished on the neckline and the hem of the lehenga had a thick subtle zari border, but otherwise the main outfit was plain. The choli was a partly-backless affair which featured dainty tie-up detailing. The sheer sequinned dupatta was what brought the magic and the perfect finishing touch to the ensemble. Her face looked bare with her natural makeup, although mascarraed lashes and her dimples added touches of sex appeal and mischief. Side-swept curls and heavy gold dangle earrings completed her look.

Madhuri Dixit was decked out in a blue lehenga choli by Manish Malhotra. Silver embroidery and sequin work embellished the bodice, hemline and dupatta, negating the need for heavy jewellery to jazz the look up.The ensemble was a perfect one for the premiere since it closely reflected her avatar in the film too.
Huma Qureshi, the film’s other leading lady, was next up in a fuchsia lehenga choli Design by manish malohtra embellished with gold and silver embroidery on the arms, dupatta and lower half of the lehenga.Of course, she didn’t come anywhere close to matching up to Madhuri, but she nevertheless looked great in her own right.

TV actress Aamna Sharif and producer-distributor Amit Kapoor tied the knot. The bride was decked out in a lehenga choli by ace designer Manish Malhotra, the latter’s unmistakable brand of glamour and tradition very obvious. Her outfit was a lovely deep blue that was flooded with silver embroidery. A bright pink dupatta, also partially embellished with silver embroidery, gave the ethnic ensemble a chic, modern touch. She went heavy with the jewellery with hair ornaments, earrings, finger rings, a necklace and bangles halfway up her arm. But thankfully it was not overdone so there was nothing garish about the bling.
Her natural beauty would have benefited from less makeup, although her deep red lips, flushed cheeks and dark eyes are exactly what go for bridal nowadays. Overall, she made a stunning bride, effortlessly being the center of attention throughout the evening.
